NOTICE. QOPIEB of the STANDARD may be obtained, on the days of vublication, front Mrs A. M. BROWNE'S Library (next door to the STANDARD Office), and Mt E. Chrisp, Gladetone Road, TO THE Ladies of gisborne and sub BOUNDING DISTRICT. I have determined to introduce into this district the Scientific System of DRESSCUTTING. The advantagea of this System must be well known to the majority of the Ladies in the District, for it has for a number of years past been advertised and favorably noticed in all the leading Ladies’ periodicals. The Local Agency of The Landon Scientific Dressoutting Association (which holds the patent rights of the System) has been granted to me, and I am now open to receive Pupils for Instruction in the System which I represent. I feel sure that with my experience (some 15 months at the principal office in Christchurch, and in other ways), I shall ba able to give satisfaction. A few lessons are all that are needed, and this, coupled with its advantages over the old style, will, I believe, secure for the Scientific System a widespread popularity. I shall be happy to give information as to Terms, &o, With my teaching duties I shall combine tha ordinary DRESSMAKING BUSINESS, and Ladies can have their materials made up, or patterns cut, at moderate prices.
