The Union Company's steamer Manapouri arrived here at an early hour on Sunday morning, from Melbourne via intermediate ports. Passengers: Misses Boyle and Clampett. Major Porter, Messrs Sayers, Muir, Newton, Taylor, Pritchard, Morrioe, Luid, Cheeseman ; two Natives and two children. The s.s. Hinemoa arrived in the Bay at 7 O'clock on Saturday evening. The topsail schooner Awaroa, from Napier, arrived here at 11 a. tn. on Sunday. DEPARTURES. The Manapouri steamed on to Auckland and Sydney on Sunday morning, taking— Messrs Barnes and Ironmonger, and one Chinaman. The s.s. Hinemoa steamed for North shortly after arrival. IMPORTS. Per Manapouri—l case, Townley; 4 cases, Pitt and Maguire; 3 pkgs, Graham, Pitt and Bennett; 12 sacks potatoes, Johnston ; 1 keg yeast, How Chow ; 1 pci, Kennedy; 58 sacks oats, 10 sacks barley, 3 sacks potatoes, 1 box, 1 pal, 2 cases tea, 5 cases, 2 bdls, various consignees. EXPORTS. Per Manapouri—l7 hides, 7 sacks clover, 1 dump skins, orders; 8 cases cheese, 3 cases bacon, Townley. TELEGRAPHIC. Lyttelton, Saturday. Arrived—Ship Crusader, from London. Yesterday. Arrived—Wanaka, at 2.85 p.m., from Wellington, with ‘Frisco mail. Bht, yesterday. Arrived—Fairy, at 1 a.m. on the 18tb, from Gisborne; and the brigantine Defiance, at 11 •,m., from Newcastle. Auckland, Sunday. Arrived—Australia, at 10 p.m., from Gisborne. Arrived—Alameda, on Friday evening, from 'Frisco. Yesterday. Arrived—Manapouri, at 8.45 a.m., from Gisborne, Oauabu, Saturday, Arrived—Steamer Bayley, at 4 p.m., from Rockhampton. The Government steamer Hinemoa (Capt. Fairchild) called in here on Saturday evening and landed the former lighthouse keeper of Portland Island, and his family, he having resigned that position. The Hinemoa resumed her voyage north shortly after arrival. Captain Fairchild intends calling in wherever there are native schools along the Coast as far as Auckland, but from the latter port his movements are uncertain, as the steamer might be ordered to the Kermadic Islands. The topsail schooner Awaroa brought r a full cargo of coals, posts, and 10 tons potatoes consigned to her owner, Mr J. A. Harding.
