TO THE Ladies of gisborne and surrounding DISTRICT. I have determined to introduce into this district the Scientific System of DRESSCUTTING. The advantages of this System must be wall known to the majority of the Ladies in the District, for it has for a numbsr of years past been advertised and favorably noticed in all the leading Ladies’ periodicals. The Local Agency of The London Scientific Dressoutting Association (which holds the patent rights of the System) has been granted to me, and I am now open to receive Pupils for Instruction in the System which I represent. I feel sure that with my experience (some 15 months at the principal office in Christchurch, and in other ways), I shall be able to give satisfaction. A few lessons are all that are needed, and this, coupled with its advantages over the old style, will, I believe, secure for the Scientific System a widespread popularity. I shall be happy to give information aa to Terms, &o. With tny teaching duties I shall combine the ordinary DRESSMAKING BUSINESS, and Ladies can have their materials made up, or patterns cut, at moderate prices. MISS GEMMELL, Next Hansen & Co.’s, Gladstone Road.
