Sporting Notes.
At a meeting of the Gisborne Racing Club held last night it was decided to hold their first Spring Meeting on November 11th. The following weights were declared for the Otago Hunt Meeting :—Kensington Handicap—Wolverine 8.12, Occident 8.9, La Bose 8.5, St. James 8.2, Ixion 7.13, Quibble 7.11, Stonehenge 7.6 s St. Malo 7.3, Le Temps 6.18, Little Shamrock 6.9, Blizzard 6.7. Tally ho— Ahua 12.5, Daddy Longlegs 11.0, Louis 10.9, Waitangi 10.7, Monteagle 10.5, Mexico 10.0, Civis 9.10, Playboy 9.7, Tramp 9.5, Maowellon 9.2, Lewis 9.0.
