This evening, the s.s. Southern Cross should arrive from northern ports. She is at present advertised to steam for Napier at 7 p.m. The Union Company’s s.s. Waihora is expected to reach Gisborne to-morrow after, noon, from Auckland. She will leave for Southern ports the same evening, the outward passengers leaving the wharf at 7. The s.s. Australia leaves Napier this evening.ind arrives here early to-morrow morning. Last launch 7 a.m. TELEGRAPHIC. Spit, Tuesday. Arrived—Pendle Hill, at 5 p.m. from Newcastle. Auckland, Tuesday. Sailed—Southern Cross, at 6.15 p.m., for Gisborne. Port Chalmers, Tuesday. Arrived—Ship Mulsen, from London. Wellington, Tuesday. Bailed—Australia, at 4 p.m., tor Napier and Gisborne. Port Chumebs, yesterday. Arrived—Coptic, at 4 55 p.m., from Plymouth via Hobart, with English mail.
