A Denial.
[to the sd-tob.] Sir,—l desire to correct; an error which appears in the Auckland Weekly News of ths sth inst, “A, Tramp, Esq,," in describing the two (sic) racing clubs in this district mentions that the Secretary of the Wacrenga-s-hika Club invited him to a buggy drive to the course, in order to see where ba and hit “ wool kings ” had their sport, I, the Secretary of the W.J.Q., certainly never gave such an invitation.—l am. etc., M.
