The schooner Giaborne (Captain Skinner) ■ailed north on Tuesday, taking a large cargo for coastal ports. TELEGRAPHIC. Auckland, Tuesday. Sailed—Southern Cross, at 6.15 p.m., for Gisborne. Lyttelton, Tuesday. Sailed—Janet Nicol, for Brisbane. Sailed—Lindas, at 6.20 p.m., for Sydney. Spit, Tuesday. Bailed—Brigantine Defiance, for Sydney. Wellington, Tuesday. Sailed—Australia, at 6 p.m., for Gisborne. Pobt Chalmbbs, yesterday. Arrived—Tekapo, at 8.20 a.m , from Newcastle. The s.s. Southern Cross arrives here from northern ports this afternoon. She is announced to go on to Napier at 5. Ths Union Company’s steamer Wairarapa is due at about noon to-morrow, from Auckland and Bussell. The outward passengers leave the wharf at 5. The s.s. Australia leaves Napier to night and reaches here early to-morrow morning She goes on to Auckland, the last boat leaving, at 7 a.m.
