Wxllitoton, last night. In reference to the telegram from Auckland atating that Thos. Bell had claimed the ownership of Sunday Island, in the Kermadic Group, the Minister of Lands states that Bell has no claim whatever beyond what is provided for in Section 86 of ths Land Act, 18?7, granting him a special occupation fer pastoral purposes over not more than 1200 acres, for a term not to exceed 21 years, recoverable at the pleasure of tbs Governor.
