Glancing at the above weights the wellknown sporting scribe “ Willow ” tips Black** boy to win the Hurdles, and the two Impostors the Flying and Spring Handicap.

SPRING MEETING, Splendid weather was experienced for the concluding day's racing of the Australian Jockey Club’s spring meeting, and there was a very large attendance, The follow! fl are the recnite of the principal events ;—Members’ Handicap, 1 mile and a furlong : Singapore, 9.5, 1 ; Little Bernie. 7.9, 2 ; Clyette, 7.5, 3. A grand race, won by a head, Time, 2min 57secs.—Steeplechase, about 8 miles : Peter Oabeok, 11,8. 1; Artist, 0.3, 2. Eight others started, Don, 9.7, after a grp at race came in first a neck ahead of Peter Osbeok, but a protest entered by tbe jockey of the latter was sustained, and the race was awarded to Peter Osbeok, Time, 7<uin Tsecs.—Waverly Handicap, If mile: Eller dale. 7 8,1; Wycombe, 8.4. 2 ; Bluenose, 6.4, 8. Eight others started. Won by half a -ength Time, drain Sfsec.—Randwiok Plate, 8 miles weight for age : Aber corn, 1 • Melos. 2 Manton, 3. Won easily. Time, Smin 35seo. One other started.
