Tarawera anchored in the roadstead shortly after nnon yesterday, from Sydney via Auckland. Passengers: Messrs Thomson, Burningham, and seven steerage, DEPARTURES. The 8.8. Australia steamed on to Napier shortly after 5 o’clock on Thursday evening, taking—Mrs Kt*eb, Mrs Hill (and infant), prisoner Schooter, Messrs Brown, Morgan, Evan*, Jones, Sunderland, Nolan, Newman, Murphy. Parker, Preston. C A, Brown, Espie, C. Adair, and Master Evans. The 5.8., Southern Cross went on North after discharging cargo yesterday morning. The b.b. Tarawera steamed on to Melbourne via southern ports at 8 30 o’clock last evening, taking—Mr and Mrs Finn, -Hisses Williams (2), Hutchinson, and Houghlan, Messrs Stuckey, Yardley, Finn, Isaacs, Hutchinson, Brassey, Hart, and one native.
