GISBORNE RACING CLUB’S SPRING MEETING. The following nominations were received at the Argyll Hotel last night by the Secretary —Mr M. G. Park Stakes—Whisper, Tirailleur, Renata, Tongariro, Kotuku, Thyme, The Laird, and Tit, Pony Race—Kapai, Grace, Celerity, New Chum, Dot and Kaihu. Sapling Stakes—Dreamland, Pearl Powder, Dryad, Legacy, Sleep, Arononel, and Sc, Moore, Hack Race—Akatea, Bronte, Burd Helen, Red Comyn, and Iks, Railway Handicap —Whisper, Tongariro, Lady Florin, Pretender, Cyclone, Strephon, Man Friday, Boulanger, Dauphine, and Waterbaby. Melbourne, Saturday. Bravo has advanced to 100 to 6 for tha Caulfield Cup. Daniel has been scratched for the Melbourne Cup, and Vera for the Caulfield Cup. The Hon. J. White’s horses, Abercorn, Rudolph, Singapore, Dreadnought, Utter and Prelude have arrived at Flemington. They have evidently undergone a very strong preparation. Carbine did a good mile and a-half gallop this morning.
