TELEGRAPHIC. Auckland, Tuesday. Sailed—Southern Cross, at 6 p.m.. for Gisborne. Lyttelton, Tuesday. Sailed—Brigantine Prosperity, for Rockhampton. Port Chalmers, yesterday. Arrived—Morning Light, from Boaton Liat evening the brigantine Gleaner sailed for Wellington via Tairau. The e a. Te Anau Reaves We'iington tomorrow evening, and calls in at Napier on the following day, arriving here early on Sunday morning. This afternoon the s.s. Southern Cross is dne here from North. She is expected to go on to Napier in the evening, the last launch being advertised to leave the wharf at 5. The e.s. Botomahana leaves Auckland at noon to-day and arrives in the bay about the same time to-morrow. Her outward passenwill leave the shore at 5.
Early to-morrow morning the s.s. Australia arrives here from Wellington and Napier. Rhe goes on to Auckland shortly after arrival. The topsail schooner Awaroa (Captain G. Page) sails for Mercury Bay this afternoon. The schooner Waiapu left Auckland for this port on Monday last.
