ARRIVALS. The a. a. Southern Cross arrived from Auckland on Thursday afternoon. Passengers : Mrs Cowan, Miss Bacon, Messrs Foster, Lincoln, and Patterson. The a.s. Australia, from Wellington and Napier, arrived here yesterday morning, bringing Mr and Mrs Gibbs, Messrs Solmon, Ted, Bothchild, DeLautour (2), Fordham, Bribbeu, Hedley, Maclean, Black, Wiseman,
and Joyce. About 11 a.m. yesterday the s.s. Rotomahana came into the bay from Auckland. Passengers: Miss Whewell, Captain Perriam, Messrs Stubbs, Bees (2), Pritchard, Montague, Smith, Pettie, and Webster. DEPARTURES. The topsail schooner Awaroa sailed for Mercury Bay on Thursday evening. The s.s. Southern Cross went on to Napier on Thursday evening. Passengers : Mr Fergusson and one native. The s.s. Australia steamed on to Auckland yesterday morning, taking Major and Mrs Bopata, Miss Reardon, Messrs Ward, and Tamiti (2). The s.s. Botomahana resumed her passage South last evening, taking—Misses Bosie, Brunette, and Nichnlsen, Messrs Weston, Bailey,File, Gibbon (2kShrimpton, Williams, Lincoln, Foster, and Tatham. IMPORTS.
