ARRIVALS. The ss. Fairy arrived from Napier on Thursday morning. The s.s. Southern Cross, from Wellington and Napier, arrived in the bay early yesterday morning, bringing—Messrs Toman, Reach, Glass, Janetl, Moor, Croll, and Ferguson. The s.s. Australia arrived in the roadstead at noon yesterday, from Auckland via coastal ports. Passengers : Messrs Everard, Vincent, Ross, and Cook. The s.s. Mararoa came into the bay shortly after one o’clock yesterday, from Sydney and Auckland, bringing—Mr and Mrs Montague, Messrs Johnson, Finn, Rees, Martin, Sherrin, and Parnell. DEPARTURES. The s.s. Southern Cross went on north yesterday morning, taking—Mr J. Wilson. The s.s. Australia steamed on south last, night. Passengers: Mrs McCarthy and infant, Miss Smith, Cletnenson. IMPORTS. . TELEGRAPHIC. Lyttelton, Thursday, Sailed—Tarawera, at 10.30 p.m., for Wellington. Wellington’, Thursday. Sailed—R M.S. Ruapehu, at 3.23 p.m., for Plymouth via Rio de Janeiro, with English mail. The s.s. Fairy returned to Napier yesterday morning. Last evening the s.s. Tarawera left Wellington for Northern ports and arrives here early on Sunday. There will be only the one launch going off, leaving the wharf at 6 a.m,
