Post and Telegraph Holiday Notice for Prince of Wales' Birthday :—Post Office.— This office will observe a close holiday on Monday, Nov. 11th, instead of the 9th, for Prince of Wa'es’ Birthday. Mails usually despatched on Monday will close at 7 p.m. on Saturday. The Telegraph Office will be open rom 9 a.ra. till 10 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to p.m. LOCAL MAILS. For Tologa Bay, Tokomaru, Tuparoa, Aku aka, Port Awanui, Wainiroßay and Rangi lukla every Friday, at 7 p.m. and arrive at Gisborne every Thursday at 6 p.m. For Waimata Valley, every Monday, at 1.30 p.m., and arrive at Gisborne every Monday, a: 10.30 a.m. For Te Karaka and Whatatutu, every Tuesday at 2 p.m., and arrive at Gisborne every Thursday at 11 a.m. For Wairengaokuri, Tiniroto and Wairoa, every Monday, at 9 a.m., and arrive at Gisborne every Thursday, at 5 p.m. Makaraka, Waerenga-a-hika and Ormond, daily at 2.30 p.m., and arrive at Gisborne daily at 11 a.m. For Hick’s Bay and Te Araroa every alter nate Friday at 7 p.m., and arrive at Gis borne every alternate Thursday, at 6 p.m. For Matawhero, Te Arai Bridge and Patutahi every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, at 2 p.m., and arrive at Gisborne on the same days, at 11 a.m.
