The weather for the la*t day’s racing of the above meeting threatened rain, but none fell. The attendance was equal to that of the Derby day. The following are tbe results of the principal events :— Foal Stakes—Dieadnought 1, Sequel 2The Hon. J. White’s pair were the only Starters. Won by half a length in tbe moat wretchedly slow time of 2min 57eecs. Flemington Stakes—Beverley 1, Wilga 2, Whimbrel 3. Won by half a length. Time, 49sec, the best ever made in Australia, but not up to the record put up by Sextant and Forester in New Zealand. V.B.C. Handicap—Oakleigh 1, Wycombe 2, Chintz 3. Won easily, a nose separating the second and third horses. The winner made a fearful exhibition of bis field, winning in the extraordinary fast time 3m 4s. Distance, 1J mile. Steeplechase—Mahdi 1, Kestrel 2, Native 3. Peter Osbeck and three others fell. Won easily by 15 lengths. Time, 6m 535. Free Handicap—Dunkeld 1, Chicago 2, Tartar 3. Won by a head. Time, 2m 9s.
