Alfred Weston was on Saturday discharged by the B.M. on the payment of £3 penalty for the defendant’s indulgence on the previous evening, At the Trust Commissioners Court yesterday a certificate was granted to a deed of transfer from Mere Karaka to A, J. Fyson, of Kaiti section 123. In reference to the sad boating fatality at Welling'on, Mr Ernest U; Widdop had taken out a polioy for £5OO in the Mutual Life Assooia'ion, and had paid the first premium only. The amount will now be payable to his relatives.
