[TO THE EDITOR. I
Sib,—To decide a wager would you kindly answer the following question, I wish to reach Tologa Bay, and on my arrival at the Pakarae, I cross (on horseback) at the mouth, having no occasion to use the punt, Am I bound to pay ferry fees ? By answering this you will oblige, Traveller. [On enquiry we learn that the ferry is a special one and unless the punt is used no fee can be charged.—Ed.)
