A.R.C. SUMMER MEETING. Auckland, last night. The above meeting opened on Boxing Day. The weather was threatening, and rain fell in the afternoon, but soon cleared off. The following are the results :—Trial Stakes : Antelope 1, Raglan 2, W. E. Gladstone 3Northern Foal Stakes : Pygmalion 1, Mary 2, Lullaby 3. Auckland Cup : Leopold 1, Lady Norah 2, Hida 3 ; Raglan, Jet d’Eau, Renata, and Leorina also started; Cuirassier was scratched ; won easily by a length. Hurdle Rice : Kneecap 1, Hurricane 2, Orangeman 3. Railway Handicap: Quadrant 1, Corunna 2, W. E. Gladstone 3. Maiden Steeplechase : Melrose 1, Shillelagh 2, Justice 3. Christmas Handicap : Antelope 1, Leorina 2, Patchwork 3 ; won with the greatest ease. • H.8.J.0. BOXING DAY MEETING.

Napier, last night. The above meeting was held on Boxing Day. The weather was splendid, and the attendance large. Appended are the resuls of the principal events Christmas Handicap : Whi«j>er 1, Katinka 2, Dauphine 3. Trial Handicap : Red Cornyn 1, Hukatera 2, True Blue 3. Handicap Hurdles : Ariel 1, Denbigh 2, Uranus 3. Summer Handicap ; Kotuka 1, Burd Helen 2, Katinka 3. Two Year Old Handicap : St. Andrew 1, Dreamland 2, Kapo 3. Post Stakes: Maggie 1, Bronte 2,’ Bevenga 3. Final Handicap ■’ Dauphine 1, Melville 2 ; only two ran. The sum of £4,009 passed through the totalisators, being £965 more than last year.
