Auckland, yesterday. Sailed—Tarawera, for Gisborne.

The i s. Tarawera is due from Sydney and Auckland at about 1 o’clock to day. She resumes her passage south in the evening, the last boat leaving the wharf at 7.

The ss. Southern Cross left Napier last night and arrives here early this morning. She goes on north at 7. The s s. Msnapouri arrives from southern ports to-morrow morning. Testtrday morning the New Zealand Shipping Company's barque Pern was reported to have been sighted by the Australia, coming round Tuahine Point. The Harbor master immediately put off to bring the vessel up to an anchorage, but could see no sign of her. The barque left Auckland a few days ego, and should now show up at any moment.
