DEATH OF THE DOWAGER EMPRESS.
PARALYSIS OF THE LUNGS. Bbumk, Jan'. 9. The etatement circulated that the death of the Dowager Empress Augmta was due to influenza has been proved to be incorrect. She died peacefully, of paralysis of the lungs. Her strength had been failing gradually, and the end was expected, The deathbed was surrounded by members of the family. The Dowager Emnreaa Frederick was at Rome, but returns to Berlin in time for the funeral.
