The Gisborne Hospital.

Tse annual general meeting of contributors to the above was held in the Courthouse on Thursday evening, The following genllemetl were present Captain W. H. Tucker (Chairman), Dr Pollen, H. McKay (secretary), Messrs Joyee, Dunlop, Watson, DeLautour, Lucas, J. Harvey, Hubble, W. Morgan, J, Dickson, and J. Warren. Messrs 0. C. Lucas and C. A. Brown, the retiring Trustees, w§re again elected, there being no other nominations. ‘ « On the motion of Mr DeLautour, seconded by Mr Hepbnrn, a vote of thanks was accorded to the Trustees for their careful management of the institution during the year justoloeed. An ordinary meeting of the Trustee* followed. Captain Tucker and Messrs Watson, Lucas, Hepburn and McKay (Secretary) being present. Captain Tucker was re elected Chairman. The monthly report shewed that there were seven patients remaining- in the Hospital. Ths Treasurer reported a credit balance of fOO 14s Qd, and a subsidy of £213 10s Od wad payable during the mouth. Account; amounting to £43 10s Bd were passed fgp payment. In his report Dr Pollen said the want <4 telephonic communication had been twice felt during the past month.
