A POSITION THAT GISBOBNE WOULD

Wellington, last night. The annual returns of the Harbor Board show an increase of 76,850 tons of shipping during the year end the number of vessels visiting the portis increased by 134. There were 69,078 bales of flax sent away, as against 17,554 bales in 1888, The. assets show a balance of £100,975 over liabilities,
