Thebe was a good attsndanoe at McFarlan*'* Hall last night, the front seats **p**ially being well occupied, Tho performano* wu in aid ot Mr Morts, who has for soate Mm* been laid up through an auidsnt, Th* pieces went off capitally. “ Poor Pilliooddy " was brimful of humor, and th«p*rform*M wars complimented by oontlnuou* ipsteh** all through. Each performer had a natural aptitude for the part uleeted, and thu* WM enabled to portray it to the bset advantigs, Mr J. Bourke was a very nominal Mr Pilliooddy, Mr F. T. Morgan an nxModlmjly good Captain O Souitl*. Mrs Sundnrlanu a jolly Mrs PlUyooddy, Mies Brooks Taylor A stylish Mrs O'Souttle, and Miss Adair a put Sarah Blunt, A triple hornpipe, daueed hp Messrs Bruoa, Loornb, and Bran, provad a popular item, and then the faroe Box anfl Cox was played. The (area hae not ths merit ot freshness, but tbs pertormets— Messrs P. and Desmond Bourke and Mrs succeeded so well that th* audienM wu* k*pl in roar* of laughter. The muiio during th* evening was supplied by Meur* Kill (clarionet) aud Ormond (piano).
