[TO THE BDITOB.] Sib,—l wish to enter my protest against the shameful injustice which the Atkins'n Government is perpetrating in regard to the Pubipuhi silver field. Any man of sense must see the foolishness of blocking up the country when there is a chance of many workmen making a living there. I consider the business one of the most scandalous that has yet been enacted—driving away the bone and sinew of the country just to pander to a few monopolists.—l am &0., Ya Van Stein, A miner.
