The U.S.S. Company's Southern Cross arrived here on Thursday afternoon, from Auckland via coastal ports. Passengers ; Miss Brod rick, Sir G. Whitmore, Messrs Milner and Sinclair. The U.S. S. Co.’s Australia, from Wellington and Napier, came into port yesterday morning, bringing—From Wellington: Hunter and Mr Davie; from Napier: Mrs Douglas ■and child. Master Brewer, Messrs Orpwood, Fergusson, Sunderland, Booth, Stevenson, Gilbert, Mai a very. Glynes, Wright, O’Neill, Shanks, and one Maori. The U.S.S. Coy’s. Ringaroonia, from Sydney and Auckland, came into the road stead at 145 p.m yesterday. Passengers : Mesdames J. A. Wilson, Piesse, Cuff, Cox, and Skeet, Misses Robertson, Reid, Morgan, Duffin, Tregea, Irving, and Symes, Messrs Marshall (2), Walters (2), Hansen, Adearie, Jones, Connolly, Churchward, Booth, Bach, Reid, and one native. DEPARTURES. The es. Southern Cross stemmed on to Napier and Wellington on Thursday evening. The p.B. Australia went on North yesterday morning, taking—Mrs Fox, and one Maori. The f.s. Rinparooma proceeded on south at 5 o’clock last evening, taking—Mrs StoHery and child, Mrs Msgnire. Misses Hcgtn, Gill, and Williams, Master Williams, Archdeacon Williams, Messrs Hayon. TELEGRAPHIC. Lyttelton, yesterday. Arrived—S s. Kahu.from Chatham Islands. Bluff, Thursday. Arrived—Tekapo, from Melbourne, with English mail. The schooner Orpheus sails for Wesport to-day. Tho steamer Rotomahana arrives in the bay early to-morrow morning from the south. She goes on to Auckland and Sydney. The schooner Gisborne left Auckland on Tuesday night last for this port. Yesterday the ship Turikina left Napier for this port. She will probably arrive here this afternoon, and commences to load up immediately with frozen meat and wool for Home.
