Morrin, Auckland, won by the shortest possible half a head, amid great excitement; time: 3min. 57|secs; dividends, £2 19s Gd Snd £2 10s. Many thought that Occident ad won. Tbe Publioan’e Purse was won by Merrie Bngfond.
