Wo understand that all parties concerned la the Roututi; ease are unanimous in wishing that Judge Barton should resume his sitting on the oaee, and that representations to that effect will be made to Chief Judge Seth Smith ou his arrival from Wairoa iu a couple of days. Things are now assuming a hopeful appearance, and we trust that the Chief Judge will be able to arrange that everything should go on smoothly iu future.
