The Ormond School Committee met on Monday evening to consider applications for the vacant position of mistress. Instructions had been received from the Education Office that a oertifieated mistress was to be preferred to one uncertificated. There were six applicants, only two of whom held certificates, and the Committee decided to recommend Mies Baker, Mr Skillieorn being the only dissentient.
