ARRIVALS.

Tbe U.B.S. Company‘a coastal steamer Southern Cross, from Wellington and Napier, came into port yesterday morninc, bringing— Captain Coleman, Messrs Levery, Heenan, Bedstone, Marshal!, Burgess, Martin, Gaine, Cameron, Bowers, and six natives. Tbe same Couipany‘s s.s. Ohau arrived from the south yesterday morning. The s.s. Australis from Auckland via coastal ports, arrived in the bay at about 11 o'clock yesterday morning. Passengers: Sergeant Villers, Messrs Stafford, Kershaw, P. Cosgrove, six Maoris, and two children, The U.S-S. Company’s Wairarapa came into the roadstead yesterday afternoon, from Sydney and Auckland. Passengers : Mesdames Todhunter, Ingles. McLeod, Kent, Phillips, Currie aud child. Sweet and two children, Gault, Atkins and child, Misses Guilbride, Pollen, Wyllie, Hepburn, Oatridge, Read, Queenin, Miller, Nichol, Leisman, Kent. Smith, Nicholson, Robb, Atkin*’, and Nicol, Messrs Brace, Ryburn, Coulk, Jenkins, 8. C. Caulton, Rossridge, Anderson, Irvine, Harris, Sharp, Greaves, O’Grady, Tayior, Atkins, Clark, Karaitian.i, Par ate ne> aud Justice Connolly.

DEPARTURES. The s.r. Southern Cross went on north yesterday morning, taking (Mr and Mrs Clapham and two chiidien, Mrs Trimmer, and Mr Stevenson. The s.r. Obau steamed on to Auckland after discharging cargo yesterday morning. The s.s. Wairarapa resumed her passage South last night, taking—Mesdames A. N. Williams. Sheth »n, McAra and four children, and Goldsmith, Misses Brunette, aud Young, Messrs Bury. Morrison, Wildish, Fox, Allen, Mitchell, Townley, Thompson, Twigg, Stevens, Weston, Creagh, Parker, Volckman, Bro*n, Tombleson, and Master Haydon. The s.s. Australia left for Napier last Bight.
