O. Arthur, whose arrival woe greeted by the boys with three ringing cheers. Where all worked so zealously, end cordially in promote the success of the gathering, It would be invidious to narp* *uy where want oi apace might cause the omission of some, but a word of praise must ba given to Mr J. Price for hla excellent handicapping, reaultiag in cluse finishes and general satisfaction, The prizes giyen were highly Appreciated by the wlnnere, and full justice was done fly all to the numerous good things provided and dispeqeed by the ladies. This was the race of the day, hardly three feel separating the oat and the lamb, while th* pig driven by Matthews just beat th* olh»r on the post for third plooe. The high jump was won by W.
