The Earthquake.
A snvBHH shook of earthquake was experiencad in Gisborne about 5.30 last evening, many nervous person® being alarmed at the way things rocked to and fro. Our Ormond correspondent wrote at 5 36 last evening A severe shook of earthquake has been Mt here, rolling in the direntien first north and south and thon east and west. The shock caused excitement.
