The above meeting took place to day on the Park Racecourse. The attendance was large, notwithstanding the threatening aspect of the weather. The racing was very good indeed, there being some very close finishes. Appended are the results:— Handicap Hurdles—Waterfall 1, Darnley 2, Uranus 3. This was a splendid race. Uranus was the favorite. Waterfall just beat the Poverty Bay horse on the post by a short head Time 3m 50s. Div,, £6.
