ARRIVALS.
The U.S.S. Company's Te Anau came into port shortly after 1 o’clock yesterday, bringing Miss Lecky, Messrs Vaile, Bees, Lytmat, Myers, Davis, McCredie, Harper, and Bear. lhe U.S.S. Company’s Southern Cross, from Auckland, arrived here yesterday afternoon. DEPARTURES. The a.a. Te Anau left for Melbourne via Southern ports last evening, taking—Mesdames Pettie and Williams, Misses Preston, Craill, Stevens, Thompson, and Schnles, Messrs Smith, Saunders, Parris, Hird, Craill, Finucane, Bold, Whiting, Wall, Sisterson, Boyd, Herbug, Tanner, Spence, and 26 Maoris. The e.e. Southern Cross went on to Napier last night. Passengers: Miss Connor, Messrs Wyllie and Gordon.
IMPORTS. Per Te Anau—l case, Kennedy and Evans; 2 horses, G. Watson; 2 sacks peanuts, Graham, Pitt and Bennett; 1 case, Garrett Bros,; 2 pole, 2 trusses, 7 cases, orders. TELEGRAPHIC. Spit, Thursday. Sailed—Barque Lochnagar, for London. Lyttelton, Tuesday. Sailed—Barque Halcione, for London. Yesterday. Sailed—Barque M. E. Watson, for London. Wellington, yesterday. Sailed—B.M.S. Kaikoura, at 6 a.m., for Lyttelton. The topsail schooner Awaroa arrived at Timaru on Thursday last, from this port. The Union s.s. Company's Manapouri, from Melbourne via South, does not reach here till Monday morning. She goes on to Auckland and Sydney. The East Coast trading schooner Waiapu left Auckland on Wednesday morning last for thia port, via Mercury Bay. The s.a Australia, from Wellington and Napier, is expected to reach here about noon to-day. She goes on North after discharging cargo.
