ARRIVALS.
w The schooner Waiapu arrived from Auckland via coastal ports on Tuesday morning. IMPORTS. Per Waiapn—s casks cement. 10 coils wire, 2 eases iron, 5 bags charcoal, Wingate, Burns and Co ; 18.000 ft. timber. Kennedy and Evans; 16.000 ft. timber, 9 cases powder, 12 boxes powder, 20 kegs powder, 10 tallow casks, orders.
TELEGRAPHIC. Lyttelton, Tuesday. Arrived—B.M.S. Doric, at 4.40 p.m. from Spit. Yesterday. Sailed—Barque Salamaniea, for Queenstown or Falmouth, for orders. Arrived—Ship Sierra Blanca, from Melbourne. Auckland, Tuesday. Arrived—Manapouri, at 4.45 a.m., from Sydney, with Brindisi mail. Sailed—Australia, at 8.15 p.m, for Gisborne.
The s.s. Southern Cross is expected here from Wellington and Napier on Saturday morning. The eutter Venus is loading up at Napier with a cargo of timber and coals consigned to Messrs Clayton and Sawyer, who have now been appointed agents for the vessel. The e.s. Australia arrives from the north this evening. The s.s. Manapouri, from Sydney and Auckland, is due here at 1 o'clock to-morrow afternoon. She leaves for Melbourne, via southern ports in the evening. The last launch for passengers leaving the wharf at 5.
