ARRIVALS.

The U.S.S. Company’s Southern Cross, from Wellington and Napier, arrived in the bay on Saturday morning. Passengers : Mrs Smail I, Revs Fox and Smaill, Messrs Shrimp ton. Magoire. Wills, Douglas, Kelly, Miller, Boyle, and 15 natives. The topsail schooner Awaroa came into port nn Sunday morning, from Oamaru, bringing B cargo of breadstuff. The U.S.S. Company’s Tarawera arrived in the roadstead yesterday morning, from Melbonrn via southern ports. Passengers: Mesdames Hall, Walters, and Foster and child. Misses Gordon and Harding, Messrs Strawbridge, W. E. Akroyd, Smaill, MacGruer, Lysnsr. Fraser, and 10 steerage. The U.S.S. Company’s cargo steamer Ohau, from south, arrived here yesterday morning. DEPARTURES. The s.g. Southern Cross went on to Auok' land on Saturday morning, taking—Mr G* Williams. The s.s. Tarawera resumed her passage north at 10 o’clock yesterday morning. Passengers: Misses Houldgate, Bligb, Humphreys, and McElwains, Messrs Marcroft, Woodhead, Pettie, S. Parker, Boyle, Miller, McMillan, and Nelson. The as. Ohau steamed on to Tauranga and Auckland at 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon.

Sailed—Barque Harold, for London, The schooner Waiapu sails thia morning for Auckland via way ports. Mrs Nicholas and three children are passengers by her. The Union Company's s.s. Ohau (Capt. B. Brewer) arrived at 8.20 a.m. yesterday. She left Dunedin on the 14th, Oamaru 15tb, Timaru 16th, Lyttelton 17th, Wellington 19 h, Napier 20th, arriving here as above. She experienbed variable winds and thick weather to Wellington, thence fine weather.
