Gisborne School.
The annual meeting ot householders in tho Gisborne School district was held last night, in the schoolroom. There were nearly fifty present, Mr Witty being voted to the chair, The annual report of the Committee was Nad and adopted. Mr Dickson proposed a onrdial vote of thanks to and oonfi lonoe in Messrs Morgan, Menu, Bull, and the whole staff of teachers. In doing so ha warmly eulogised the work done, and highly complimented tho staff on the proud position which they bad enabled the school to attain. The motion was seconded by Mr Lewie, who endorsed the remarks made, and it was carried with applause. The following gentlemen won nominated as committeemen :—D. Johnston 61, M. Hall 45, A. Taylor 89, J. Maynard bl, T. Faram 81. W. Morgan 28, Hssaba 29e!acted; and Messrs DeLautour, File, Witty, Humphieys, Bushnell, and Watson. Mr Johnston was re-elected Chairman ot Committee.
