A POLL of the Ratepayers of the Tiniroto -"•Y- District will bo taken on SATURDAY, 10th May, 1890, at Mr White’s Shed, Tiniroto, and at the Office of the Council, Gisborne, upon a proposal to obtain £4BO for the construction of the bye-roads in the Tiniroto District. The annual chargee will be paid from the deferred payment and perpetual lease thirds for at least 10 years. It is not probable that the special rate will be levied.
