Wairarapa arrived in tha Bay early on Sunday morning, from Melbourne via Southern ports, bringing Mesdames Peer, Blair, Desborough and child, Hutcbinscn, Hill, and Spriggs, Misses Fenore Finucane, and Russell, Messrs Macbean, Seymour, Gilding, Stockey, Edwards, Fenore, Brown, Lunn, Brown, Watt, Budd, Rolfe and 15 Maoris. The U.S.S. Company’s Tarawera came into port at 3 o’clock on Sunday afternoon from Sydney -and Auckland. Passengers : Mrs Coutts, Miss Kent, Messrs Moore, Hepburn, Williams, Johnston, Von Sturmer, Sturge, and 5 steerage.
