ARRIVALS.
The eteamer Fanny, from Napier, arrived in the bay at 1 o'clock on Thursday, and was shortly afterwards berthed at the wharf by the pilot. Captain Kennedy then took the eteamer up to the freezing works to discharge her cargo. The schooner Opotiki arrived from Napier on Thursday evening. The U.S.S. Company’s cargo eteamer Australia, arrived from Auckland at 7.30 on Thursday night, bringing—Mrs Cowper and two children, Misses Booth and Shield, Mr Grupan. The U.S.S. Company's s.s. Te Anau, from Sydney and Auckland, came into the roadstead shortly after 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Passengers :Mr and Mrs Brooke, Mrs McLernon, Misses Dorset and Crawford. Messrs Kissling, Bush, Faulkner, Hanis, Rickards, and Cullimore.
jDEPARTUBES. The Aoelre-lia steamed an to Napier on Thursday night, taking—Mr and Mrs Casein and family, Messrs Hopkins, Hewat, Lysnar, and P. Bourke. The s.s. Te Anau resumed her voyage south last evening, taking—Mr and Mrs Talbot and child, Mr and Mrs Wasredd, Mesdames Watson, Pearce, and Smith, Messrs Foster, Winser, Stopferd, one Maori, and one prisoner (Campbell).
IMPORTS. Per Australia—s 6 bags sugar, Pitt and Maguire: 2 sacks oysters, Mrs Menzies; 6 pkgs, 2 lengths pipe. Wingate, Burns and Co.; 9 bdis pickets, Kennedy and Evans; 5 pkgs, Clayton and Sawyer; 3 drums, 15 pkgs, Graham, Pitt and Bennett; 1 pel, Prichard; 266 bags sugar, 100 fire bricks, 10 sacks lime. 30 sacks salt, 2 oases syrup, 1 bale leather, 46 pkgs, 18 cases, 3 pels, orders. Per Fanny—3s,oooft timber, Nelson Bros. Per Te Anau—4o bunches bananas, 4 cases, Graham, Pitt and Bennett,- 2 cases, Garrett Bros. ; 2 perambulators, Townley; 1 case, Kennedy and Evans; 1 sack oysters, 2 cases fish, 1 pkg leather, 1 truss, 4 cases, 1 box, orders. Per Opotiki—l6,69lft timber, 300 posts. Nelson 1 Bros.; 16 cases powder, Graham, Pit! and Bennett; 3000 ft timber, order. EXPORTS. Per Australia—3 bales wool. Graham, Pitt and Bennett. Per Te Anau—43 sacks rye grass seed, order; 17 cases cheese, Townley.
TELEGRAPHIC. Lytteltov, Thursday, flailed—Barque Belle, for Capetown, flailed—B.M.H. Tonganro, at 1 p.m., fnr Plymouth via Bio de Janeiro, with English mail. Truuir, Thursday. Arrived—Nairnebire, from Bluff. The e.e. Ohan leaves for Tauranga and Auckland this morning. The s.B. Manapouri, from Melbourne via Southern porta, arrives in the bay at daylight to-morrow morning. She goes on to Auckland and Sydney, the last launch leaving the wharf at 8. The steamer Maori King is expected to arrive at the latter end of next week. The a.?. Australia returns here from Napier tc.morrow. She leaves for coast ports and Auckland after discharging cargo.
