ARRIVALS.

The U.S.S. Company’s ss. Australia arrived here at 7 o’clock on Thursday evening, from Auckland via coast ports. Passenger: Mr G. Collins. The U.S.S. Company’s Southern Cross, from Wellington and Napier, arrived in the bay yesterday morning, bringing—Messrs Walker, Smith, Cooduge, Taylor, and one Maori. The Union S.S. Company’s Manapouri came into port at noon yesterday, from Sydney fend Auckland. Passengers: Misses Clarke and Bees; Mesrs J. E. Patterson, FLher, Bees, Baker, and Ford.

DEPARTURES. The ketch Prince Rupert sailed for D’Urville Island yesterday. The s.s. Manapouri resumed her passage south last evening, taking—Mr and Mrs Wall and four children, Mr and MrsHatherell. Mr and Mrs Brookes and two children, Mr and Mrs Knight and infant, Misses Hunter, Thomson, Parnell, and Cator, Justice Edwards, Lieut.-Colonel Porter, Major Ropata, Messrs G. Abraham, J. Marshall, Harris, Martin, Parnell, Bold, E. F. Harris, Muir, Spence, Stoddart, Masters Fox (2), and one native. The s s. Southern Cross went on to Auckland via way ports yesterday afternoon. Passengers: Mr H. Houkamau and one Maori and child.

The departure of the e.s. Anstralia for Napier and Wellington has been postponed until noon to-day. The Union S.S. Company’s new steamer Monowai (Captain Carey) left Wellington last evening for northern ports. She calls in at Napier to-day, and arrives here early tomorrow morning, proceeding on to Auckland at 8 s.m.
