ARRIVALS.
The schooner Waiapu arrived in the bay late on Monday night, from Auckland via way ports, Tbe steamer Fairy left Napier at G o'clock on Tuesday night, and arrived in the roadstead at 11 a.m. yesterday. She was berth’d alongside the wharf by the pilot (Captain Thompson) shortly afterwards, and at noon steamed np the river to discharge her cargo of timber at the freezing works. IMPORTS. Per Waiapu—2oooft timber, Kennedy and Evans; 1 octave wine, Harding; 1 case powder, 2 tone goods, 50 water pipes, Wingate, Burns and Co. ; 28,000 rt timber, 106 water pipes, 1 ton coal, 8 cases beer, 12 tallowcasks, various consignees. TELEGRAPHIC.' Auckland. Tuesday. Sailed—Southern Cross, at 6.11 p.m., for Gisborne. Arrived—Botomahana, at 5.15 a.m., from Sydney, with Brindisi mail. Lyttelton, Tuesday. Arrived—S.s. Colac, from Newcastle. Yesterday. Sailed—S.s. City of Madras, for London. Arrived—Rotorna, from Wellington, with Brindisi mail. The s.s. Fairy returns to Napier at noon to-day. The s.s. Southern Cross, which is due here this evening from Auckland, only goes as far asJNapier this trip, returning here on Satur day morning. The s.s. Botomahana leaves Auckland at noon to-day, and arrives in the bay about the same hour to-morrow. She leaves for Melbourne and southern ports in the evening, the outward passengers leaving the shore at 4.
