Messrs Hellenstein Bros, and Co., Propriefors of the New Zealand Clothing Factory at Dunedin, Invercargill, Gore, Milton, Oamaru, Tinuru, Ashburton, Christchurch, H kitika, Greymouth, Reefton, Westport. Nelson, Wellington, Napier, Hastings, Waipawa, Gisborne, Palmerston North, Wanganui, Hawera, New Plymouth, Thames, and Auckland, have arranged to float their business into a company, registered under “ The Companies Act 1882.” It is a part of the arrangement that stocks shall be reduced by £50,000 before the 15th of June next. To effect this the managers of the various branches throughout the colony have been instructed, in addition to marking out the goods at low prices, to allow 5 per cent, on all cash saies amounting to £1 and upwards.
