ARRIVALS. The U.S.S. Company’s Australia, from Wellington and Napier, arrived here yesterday morning. Passengers : Mrs Evinsnn and child, Messrs Maleclra, Bourke. Heslop, Hspbnrn, Hodgson, McKay, Goddard, Ais labia, and Constable Pardy. The U.S.S. Company's Mararoa came into port at noon yesterday, from Sydney and Auckland. Passengers: Mrs Gaskell and infant, Miss Clark, Mr and Mrs Chambers, and Mr T. O’Connor. DEPASTURES The aj. Mararoa went on south last evening, taking—Mr and Mrs Watt and two sons, Mrs Thomson, Misses Peacock and Mills, Hon. G. R. Johnson, Messrs Swanson, Watt, Arthur, Rogers, Harris, Sisterson, Irvine, Sir George Whitmore, J. Carroll, and one Maori. The s.e. Australia went on to Auckland yesterday morning, taking— Miss Buchanan. IMPORTS. Per Australia— l box butter, 1 1-asck cheese, J, W. Johnson; 155 hides, orders; and sundry pkgs for coastal port', shipped by Common, Shelton and Co., and W. Adair, Par Mararoa—63 sacks maize, Common, Shelton and 00. TELEGRAPHIC. LtmeltoS, Thursday. Arrival—Golden Horn, from Melbourne. Sailed—Government s.s. Hinemoa, for Wallington direct, with English mail ex Bimutaka. Bmt, yesterday. Sailed—Brigantine Pendls BUI, for Sydney’ Then was no sign of ths Southern Cross, from Auckland, op to an carl? hour this morning. She will|probably reach here about 7a.m. The last launch goes off at 10. The U.B.S. Company's s.s. Tarawera left Wellington last evening for Northern ports. She calls in at Napier to day, and arrives here at daylight to-morrow morning, pro seeding on to Auckland at 8 a.m.
