NOT A SINGLE BID. Auckland, last night. On Tuesday afternoon Messrs S. Vaile and Sons pnt up for sale by public auction a large number cf properties in the town of Gisborne, owned by Josiah Tutcben. Tbe lots numbered 21 in all, situated in Gisborne North and township, and comprised a good number of residences, cottages, and buil iiug allotments. There was a fair attendance, but not one bid was elicited. The upset prices placed on the lots totalled some £4OOO. The sale was continued to day.
