Capture of a Burglar.
[special to itandabd.] Auoiland, last night. On SattfrdAy evening a young man named Alexander McLean, who says he came from Dunedin, effected an entrance to Howden's jeweller's shop, while the latter was at tea. When Howden, opening the shop, aaw a man inside, he sent a neighbor named Gilbert, chemist, to the back. Gilbert secured the man after a desperate struggle, . and found he had £7OO worth of booty in f his possession. The burglar was committed for trial to day.
