The steamer Changsha went ashore on Rattray Island during a fog. There is a prospect of the floating of the vessel off. The Tainui has arrived at Hobart. She brings 64 passengers for yfustralian ports and 80 for New Zealand. The Amalgamated Shearers’ Union numbers 22,000 members.
