A POLL of Ratepayers within a Special 1 1 District—comprising the Tamatarata, Rangikohus, Te Pohui 1 and 2, Pauikau, Mangaheia IA, 10, Id, Ib, lr, and Arakih; 1 and 2 Blocks—will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 6th Day of AUGUST, 1890, at Mr Sherratt’s House, Panikau, and the Office of the Council, Gisborne. The proposal is that the Council borrow £B6O in terms of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886 89, for the purpose of constructing a Cart Road from Arakihi to the Coast by way of Whangara.
