Wairarapa resumed her passage South last night, taking—Messrs Albert, Spiers, Anderson, Moore, Gilling, Ambridge, McLoughlin, Nock, Lusk, St. Ledger, Buscke, Haughey, Karaitisna, Loomb, Sheriff, Bourke, Clayton, Cameron, Football team (20) and three natives. The e.s. Southern Cross left for Napier and Wellington at 8 o’clock last night. IMPORTS. Per Wairarapa—l sack oystets, Budd; 1 ease, Common, Shelton and Co.; 1 bill springs, Wingate, Burns and Co.; 2 trunks, Garrett Bros.; 1 box, Prichard ; 1 case cigars, W. Parnell; 6 eases fruit, 12 cases, 2 boxes, 1 pkg, orders. The barque Mataura will be ready for sea about Wednesday next. The following cargo is now on board Shipped by Loan and Mercantile Company, 21 bales scoured wool, valued at £322; 24 bales greasy wool, valued at £296. Shipped by Graham, Pitt and Bennett, 31 bales slipe wool, valued at £541; 1 log timber, valued at £2 ; 3 cases honey, valued at £4; 14 bales slipe wool, valued at £219. The Mataura has yet to take in a quantity of frozen mutton. The s.s. Australia leaves for coast ports and Auckland at 7 o’clock this morning. This evening the U. 3.5. Company’s Ta Anau leaves Wellington for northern porta and Ky. She calls in at Napier on Sunday oon, arriving here early on the following morning. She proceeds on to Auckland at 9.
