A motion has been made in the N.S.W Assembly that the Queen be petitioned, praying that the Government be informed of the appointment of a Governor to the colony before it is finally made.
A want of confidence motion has been sprung in the Victorian Legislature, the leader of the Opposition moving that the Government’s financial accounts are unreliable.
